Business Overview CIB Shared Services is a firm wide Shared Service providing financial messaging servicesto all Lines of Business and JPMC Branches globally.CIB Shared Services is also known as the 'SWIFT Gateway,' delivering functionality such as the reception and transmission of SWIFT and Telex messages on behalf of our client base, the sending of Fax traffic via external providers and Sanctions Screening. Shared Servicesis the preferred SWIFT messaging service for all Lines of Business and is the firm's single point of entry to SWIFT, the worldwide financial messaging system. Team Description The Shared Services Test Team is a global testing service providing Functional and Non-Functional Testing across multiple platforms, which are utilised firm-wide to support Payments screening and messaging. The Team consists of 60 resources based in four locations globally (Bournemouth, Mumbai, Tampa and Manila) working across a number of major initiatives relating to SWIFT Messaging, Sanctions Screening, Central Payments Hubs and Line of Business Test Support. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Technical Functional Tester to join a busy Financial Sanctions screening test team. Experience of testing middleware applications including MQ / UM and Sanctions Screening based systems required. Proven experience of UNIX, SQL required. Experience with the GreenHat Tester would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with a number of key teams including, Project Managers, Architecture, AD and Functional and Non-Functional TS Technology Test Leads to both write and execute project specific tests and support Line of Business testing as required.
  • Working with Business Analysts and Project Managers, producing and designing test plans and automated test cases that accurately test the complex system flows and application functionality using appropriate data quality and quantity.
  • Review and sign off test cases with the TS Technology Sanctions BAU Test Lead to ensure requirement traceability is maintained.
  • Peer review execution results of other members of the team and ensure quality standards are applied correctly.
  • Ensure defects are raised, recorded within Quality Centre and managed to resolution.
  • Attend design walkthroughs and review design documentation, ensuring that changes are fully understood and considerations/concerns are raised early.
  • Review all functional changes and ensure that they are documented and incorporated in the requirements.
  • Track design and execution status and produce regular status reports and articulate status the wider testing community.
