Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC) is the world's largest not-for-profit arts organization committed to promoting the appreciation and understanding of jazz through performance, education, and preservation, under Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis. Jazz at Lincoln Center's new homeFrederick P. Rose Hallat New York's Columbus Circle, the first education, performance, and broadcast facility devoted to jazz, opened in fall 2004. The Public Relations department is responsible for maintaining and building awareness of Jazz at Lincoln Center as an organization, its venues, concerts, education, touring and broadcast events and resources, via unpaid editorial placements in media outlets worldwide. We produce materials (print and electronic) to disseminate our messages to local, national and international press, to enhance the understanding of Jazz at Lincoln Centers mission, support tickets sales and sell product worldwide. We maintain the Jazz at Lincoln Center Press Room content and serve as the gateway to information and spokespeople for the media.
