DescriptionReporting to director, specialized vehicles group, the purpose of the position is to provide both agency level and site specific account relationship development within strategic Federal and State Government & institutional fleet accounts. This includes initiating the relationship, developing existing accounts, identifying opportunities and challenges and developing action plans to grow business with assigned accounts.
Responsibilities- Meet or exceed sales objective for assigned territory through direct and dealer channels;
· Develop agency level action plans for identified strategic agencies; · Participate in negotiation of state agency contracts; · Conduct customer education and product information meetings; · Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products and markets for all commodities; · Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows; · Maintain customer profiles and files; · Communicate competitive information to corporate marketing; · Comply with all company policies and operate within the expense budget; · Travel approximately 100-150 days per year for business purposes. Requirements- Educational requirements of a 4 year college degree in business administration or related field;
· Fifteen years of related work experience; · Military or Law Enforcement experience required; · Sales Certification desired; · Mandatory bilingualism (written and spoken French/English); · Understanding of the government contracting process Apply on Company Website |
