Job Description Join Kaplan as a Part-Time Step 1 Facilitator within Kaplan Medical!

In this role you will manage small groups through question review, and outline our proven test strategies to help them pass and/or prepare for the USMLE Step 1 exam.

We seek confident presenters with a proven ability to motivate others. Candidates MUST have prior experience taking the USLME Step 1. Candidates with passing Step 1 scores are preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery of USMLE Test Prep:
• High energy level and ability to engage students
• Excellent presentation skills
• Active and ongoing classroom management
• Receive and respond to ongoing training, development, and feedback

Subject Matter Expertise:
• Learn and retain knowledge related to all aspects of the USMLE including knowledge of test format, dates offered, test enrollment process, and admissions timeline.
• Leading small groups of student physicians through Kaplan standardized method.

Student Service:
• Mentoring skills to help guide students of all levels achieve their highest scores on ""test day""
• Respond to or escalate student related issues as they arise
• Partner with our service and academics support staff to ensure student needs are met

• Must possess, strong supervisory, organizational, and time-management skills
• Part-time shifts vary
