Job Description Lead Front-end Web Developer role requires an attention to detail, a high level of technical front end development skill and prior management of a UX or front end web development team. Key considerations include prior experience in translating client or customer requirements into user friendly designs, conducting formal usability testing sessions and building upon strong UX fundamentals to deliver a superior online experience.
Skills:

* Complete mastery of HTML 5, CSS and JavaScript

* Experience designing and building scalable and usable web based applications using Responsive Design techniques

* An understanding of cross-browser and multiple device design considerations

* User Centered Design principles and other structured user interaction design paradigms

* Significant development experience with jQuery or comparable JavaScript frameworks

* An ability to develop solid information architecture, content management strategies and enterprise CMS platforms (ExpressionEngine, Joomla, Drupal, Typo3 etc)

* Website Analytics, SEO, SEM and multivariate testing

Experience:

* 10+ years of professional design and development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in management roles

* A dedication to continual learning and growth within UX and UI professions, including attending seminars, conferences and engaging in professional development activities

* Prior experience working with vendors and off-site contractors to meet project demand

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previously deployed a UX design lab in a corporate environment

* Prior agency and high volume project delivery experience

* Advanced degree relating to Human Computer Interaction (HCI) concepts

* Experience in designing and building software focused on eLearning based on sound Instructional Design principles
