Job Summary

The Operations Coordinator is a hybrid position, focused on both operations and implementation support. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for internal technology functions, such as creating technology assets for teachers/ students and administrators by inputting the detailed logistical information into Kaplan systems. In addition, s/he is responsible for the successful implementation of a defined list of Kaplan products that are delivered nationally, as measured by customer satisfaction, program renewals, and student usage/improvement.

The Operations Coordinator develops strong relationships with both internal and external customers and uses his/her experience and expertise to support and, if necessary, modify implementation plans to meet client needs and ensure program success.
  • Execute technology asset requests within a defined time period
  • Adhere to protocol and Kaplan- created templates to streamline the integration of teacher/student rosters and the implementation of online programs
  • Coordinate customer post-sale services including confirmation of materials, rosters, test results, or other deliverables based on the product list
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by proactively communicating timelines and properl y setting expectations
  • Monitor client satisfaction with and use of the Kaplan offerings
  • Interface regularly with various home office teams
  • Respond to emails received within the Operations inbox
  • Develop a deep knowledge of a defined list of Kaplan products and services
  • Recommend process and strategy improvements based on experience color
  • Support data pulls for various report analyses done by the Operations Manager or Implementation Manage
Required Skills and Credentials
  • 2+ years of customer service or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Spanish fluency (speaking, reading, writing) required
  • Ability to work extended hours, as communicated by manager, in order to meet business objectives
  • Passion for the education industry and Kaplan’s mission
  • Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
  • High energy level, confident, and optimistic demeanor with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Good problem solving and creative thinking skills and ability to handle numerous details
