Job Description
Job Title:Customer Care Support Position
Department:Customer Service/Sales Department

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide tactical support to Customers while working within all policies and established procedures of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Answer and respond to inbound telephone calls, emails, voice mails. as well as assist customers with specific inquiries.
2.Coordinate the pickup of shipments with vendors, and terminals while meeting customers delivery expectations.
3.Follow through to ensure the shipment did pick up as expected on a daily basis.
4.Perform after call work which includes researching the status of shipments, submitting corrections, faxing, liaising with other departments and terminals.
5.Interacts with other Corporate departments field locations to research shipment issues
6.Traces shipments, provides bills of lading, proofs of delivery, and other documents, as requested by customers

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
1.High School education.
2.Dependable, punctual, and flexible to work shifts ranging from 7:30am to 8:00pm and during the peak periods May, June and July.
3.Customer Service or Sales Support experience a plus.
4.Knowledge of Transportation industry a plus.
5.Good verbal and oral communication skills fast and accurate typing, ability to create grammatically correct responses without spelling errors. The candidate should be able to recognize signals that a customer is disgruntled in email correspondence and respond without anger.
6.Ability to comprehend, capture as well as interpret basic customer information.
7.Ability to treat people with respect under all circumstances while upholding the values of the company.
8.Pleasant and friendly mannerism.
9.Basic computer knowledge/technological skills the candidate should be adept in using search tools, browsers and email features, attaching correspondence, tracking and familiarity with CRM solutions.
10.Ability to make efficient use of resources.
11.A sound knowledge of telephone etiquette.
12.Ability to prioritize workload required.
13.Ability to work as part of a team and proactively provide assistance when necessary.
14.High tolerance for stress.
15.Must be self-directed with a high level of attention to detail.
