Description Under the direction of immediate supervision, perform detail and copy drafting work, and do related work as required. Details of the work include activities such as: Make detail drawings from sketches furnished by others, of items such as conduit boxes, diagrams, electrical and/or mechanical hangers and supports, structural items such as simple beams, reinforced concrete pads and footings, plans, elevations and maps. Change existing drawings to match marked prints or from verbal instruction. Make posters, signs, charts, maps, and originals for slides. Revise schematics and wiring diagrams, where operational knowledge is not required. Assist in field measurements, drawing management systems, printing and filing.
Education: High school diploma/GED,with a "C" or better in high school algebra math class. Satisfactory completion of 15 credit hours at an accredited university, college or junior college , of study leading to an Associates Degree in Drafting, Engineering, or Engineering Technology, with at least one course in MicroStation or two years minimum of MicroStation drafting work experience.
