Small Criminal Defense firm seeking 1st year or 2nd year law student with strong legal research and writing skills for project oriented tasks. Attorney will consider college applicant with strong legal interests but please articulate what tasks you deem yourself capable of handling. Ideal for someone who wants to practice Criminal Law in the future either as a prosecutor or defense attorney. Some minimal office related clerical tasks as well. Bilingual a huge plus with preference for Spanish, Russian or Mandarin speakers. I am flexible as to schedule but I'd estimate 8- 10 hours per week split between my office and independent research.
