Description

The purpose of this position is to drive our retail stores to profitable and sustainable growth by creating well-informed distribution plans which result in sales growth by store, category and style while delivering turn and volume goals.

  • Provide hindsight input from previous seasons; incorporating in-season knowledge in order to positively affect buy initiatives
  • Partner with planning and merchandising to develop assortment financial plans based on the distribution strategy
  • In-season,rapidly respond to sku demand insights by door through rigorous size analysis
  • Fulfill demand through stock-to-sales analysis
  • Create regional weather trends
  • Conduct cluster analysis
  • Make recommendations on product placement, product consolidation and sell-through opportunities
  • Communicate regularly with production to ensure optimal execution resulting in maximizing store trends and sell-through successes, and minimizing markdown and liability
  • Assist with model stock management and model revisions
  • Post-season, recap and assess store performance based on the execution of distribution initiatives, and report key market hindsight's best practices

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (5+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Minimum 3 years wholesale or retail experience
  • Strong skills with Excel

Additional Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Business Objects is preferred
  • Ability to grow a store and consumer segment to classification resulting in a positive ROI for the business
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional team and collaboration skills
