Primary technology interface for any Perceptive Software Product/Service Offers. The TS works as a liaison between Perceptive Software and the customer to communicate technical capabilities of Perceptive Software core software and solution offers to business environments and systems. Assumes a role prior to the point of sale, providing a deeper level of technical direction to customers, potential customers, and internal staff in the development of fully integrated systems solutions. Addresses pre-sales technical issues (e.g., communications protocols) and/or specific business applications. Interfaces with customer's senior management to assess major business operations and address pre-sales product/service needs and assists the customer in the transition to Lexmark's global support process. Assumes a role prior to the point of sale, providing a deeper level of technical direction to customers, potential customers, and internal staff in the development of fully integrated systems solutions. Requirements

  • Real world development and/or scripting experience: Either as a developer, or a systems administrator. Have at least some background with writing applications and/or scripts used in a business environment.
  • Ability to read and understand code written in C++, C#, VB and Java.
  • Ability to troubleshoot/debug code written in C++, C#, VB and Java.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Mac and Unix OSes (comfortable working within any environment).
  • Good working knowledge of web servers and associated network impact/management.
  • Editing/troubleshooting web pages using HTML, CSS and VBScript.
