The Claims Training Program beginswith four to six weeks of classroom training, during which you will learn the principles of managing disability claims. You will learn how to effectively conduct investigations and obtain the documentation required to resolve each claim. After the structured training program, on-the-job training will begin and you will apply the skills learned to actual claims management with the guidance ofan assigned mentor. Responsibilities:

• Actively developthe knowledge, skills, and capabilities needed to be a successful Claims Case Manager
• Learn how toconduct investigations to determine whether or not to accept liability, and to approve or deny benefits accordingly
• Learn toeffectively risk manage claims while applying appropriate contractual provisions, legal guidelines, case management resources, and claims procedures
