Volunteer Internships available at L.A. Center for Digital Art

LACDA is looking for people developing a serious career in the fine art world, with a tight focus on art and technology. Persons with a need for internship/field experience as a requirement for a Fine Art degree or for degree related units/credits with a semester or more commitment would be excellent candidates. We would like to find industrious people who want to form a relationship with us mutually benefiting the quality of our endeavors and the ongoing realization of our potential. Interns work one regularly scheduled day per week for a five hour shift as well as other hours as needed or when available and during installation of exhibits, special projects, outside exhibits, artists receptions, etc.

We are very fun, yet functional. We are serious, but enjoy what we do and enjoy each other as people and work through trouble spots with respect and understanding. Good sense of humor a must. Good manners a must. Well dressed for creative professional (flair is fine, tattoos, purple hair, etc. o.k.).

Potential for involvement in curating and organizing exhibits. Possibilities for exhibiting your work. Great environment for meeting active/important persons in the field. Opportunities for assisting in realization of projects involving the production of art, and wide format printing.
