The Fitness/Recreation Intern will work in the G.T. Bray Fitness Center under the direction of the Fitness and Wellness Coordinator. The intern will gain experience in health education, fitness, nutrition, weight loss, wellness and special populations including (but not limited to) Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and Cardiac Health. The Fitness Intern will perform fitness testing, exercise prescriptions, and have an opportunity to work within Manatee County. In addition the Fitness Intern will be responsible for administrative work relating to membership data, program registration, marketing, and program outcomes.
