By keeping the restaurant premises and surrounding areas clean and attractive, they help to form that all-important, positive first impression for each McDonald?s customer. A competent, reliable maintenance person is essential to every McDonald?s restaurant. The maintenance person is responsible for general (janitorial) maintenance. General maintenance includes the cleaning and upkeep of the entire restaurant and its surroundings, except for the following: ? Road signs ? Jobs requiring outside professional services, such as electrical, plumbing, major construction work, or major landscaping. Inside the restaurant, general maintenance includes cleaning the floors, walls, windows, dining area, restrooms, furniture and fixtures, lighting, counters, stockroom, basement, and signage. Outside the restaurant, general maintenance includes cleaning and upkeep of the building, Drive-thru areas, PlayPlace, parking lot, landscaping, signage, sidewalks, and gutters. General maintenance is a big job and an important one. A dedicated maintenance person can keep the restaurant environment in good order. Some of the tasks done by a maintenance person include the following: ? Window washing ? Floor sweeping and mopping ? Restroom cleaning (detailed cleaning) ? Planned maintenance tasks ? Minor repair work ? Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance ? Outdoor cleaning ? Stockroom organization and cleanliness. Dependable, hard working individuals should apply now!
