ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Gather information from individuals within the agency and write articles, photo captions and/or articles for external websites, internal website and/or media releases and newsletters.
Assist in communications planning and support for special events and activities, inclucing, but not limited to, Family Fair, Parent Seminar Series, Telethon, Holiday Cards, the Meeting Street Golf Tournament, and others.
Telethon Online Auction:
Develop solicitation letter & List
Handle the mailing of solicitation &Make follow-up phone calls to secure items
Write description of secured items and take photos & load items onto auction website
Manage Auction website communication to potential bidders
Handle coordination of auction table on Telethon night
Handle distribution to winning bidder of auction item after Telethon
Assist in ongoing development and maintenance of multiple mailing lists to build communication.
Perform other marketing and special event duties as requested or directed.
