Job Description
Management
? Supervise team, including: interviewing, performance management, scheduling, etc.
? Regular performance reporting to management.
? Provide technical advice and guidance to programmers and maintenance technicians.
? Provide a point of escalation and liaison with third party vendor.
Process Improvement
? Develop solutions for continuous service and performance improvement.
? Develop, write, and implement procedures as it pertains to the support of engineering functions.
? Assist with the redesigning of various product lines for cost effectiveness and improved performance.
? Design, develop, and test machinery.
Project Planning and Execution
? Evaluate and report on new materials, technology, and techniques for improving manufacturing and service of the product line.
? Create and manage preparatory, interim, and completion project plans, reports, and documentation.
? Participate in design reviews for all projects released by the team.
? Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of equipment, electrical drawings, and other documentation.
? Prepare quotations and appropriating requests for equipment to support the business unit requirements.
Manufacturing Facility and Support
? Respond promptly to Work Orders, within SLA; keep Work Orders up-to-date according to standards.
? Support cost-effective manufacturing processes to meet product specifications and quality standards.
? Evaluate and solve production problems.
? Provide engineering production support to other departments.

Skills/Requirements
? Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, in Electromechanical Technology, or equivalent is required; Bachelors Degree is preferred.
? Experience with RS Logix.
? Able to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
? Able to plan, organize, and perform work with minimal direction and supervision.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven demonstration of effective and efficient interfacing with all levels of team members, vendors, and guests.
? Adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands, projects, and priorities.
? Able to read, analyze, and create mechanical and electrical drawings.
? Knowledge of electrical design and National Electrical Code.

Preferred Skills and Competencies
? At least three years experience in a manufacturing environment.
? At least five years previous experience in mechanical and/or electrical is preferred.
? Knowledge of manufacturing processes, cost-reduction methods, quality improvement, and efficiency.
? Microsoft Project, Visio, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Visual Basic .NET, Wonderware, RS View, and/or Canvas experience.
