YARDHORSE DRIVER
LOCATION: DISTRIBUTION CENTER REPORTS TO: DEPARTMENT MANAGER, ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT MANAGER AND SUPERVISOR
TRAVEL REQUIRED? NO

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: NONE

POSITION SUMMARY: This position requires team members to efficiently move trailers around the facility to help prepare freight that is being transported to Menard, Inc. stores.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility
* Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system to ensure proper placement of trailers
* Provide outstanding service to stores by maintaining attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
* Perform safety check of tractor vehicle prior to operation
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Must possess a good driving record
* Experience operating tractor/trailer or willingness to learn
* CDL license a plus
* Enjoy working outdoors
* Proof of valid driver’s license
