About This Position

This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Management, Health Sciences or a related field and at least 5 years of current progressive management experience in a similar size and complexity healthcare diagnostic/therapeutic setting. Masters Degree in healthcare related field preferred. Candidates must have a RCP and RG RT.

This incumbent is accountable for ensuring the coordination/provision and delivery of high quality cardiopulmonary/neurodiagnostic services at Mercy General Hospital. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of Cardiopulmonary/Neurodiagnostic Services in a cost-effective manner while providing quality care on the operational level. The incumbent is also expected to collaborate and work closely with the Vice President, Cardiovascular Services and Medical Directors toward the identification and implementation of operation best practices as well as equipment and supply standardization. The incumbent is also responsible for the development, in cooperation with the Greater Sacramento Service Area (GSSA) Cardiopulmonary Managers, an GSSA wide agency pool of respiratory care practitioners and EKG technicians throughout the region accomplished in the most effective and efficient possible manner.
