About This Position

Works with the hospital Transformational Care Director and teams to problem-solve process improvement initiatives and sustain implemented changes. Responsible for driving analysis and data reports for Transformational Care including assistance with efficient and complete data abstraction and analysis with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from that data.

Project management skills: ability to effectively manage project resources to successfully deliver improvement solutions within established criteria; effective time management, organization, and communication skills. Analytical skills: requires experience abstracting and exporting data from multiple clinical and business systems (i.e., Cerner, MS4, HSM, etc.) to Excel and statistical software to analyze business processes and support project teams; experience using standard presentation software to creat high-impact presentations that include easily understandable charts/graphs of data (i.e., Pareto charts, control charts, regression analysis). Interpersonal skills: ability to interact with hospital management , staff, and clinical care providers at all levels to foster positive
collaboration, teamwork, and active participation; excellent oral and written communication skills to disseminate program and project updates; tact, diplomacy, and discretion to resolve issues and conflicts.

Excellent analytical and project management skills. Ability to problem solve, facilitate teams, set priorities, and manage work accurately and timely. Multitasking, organization time management, written and verbal communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc). Familiarity with Health Information Systems.

Requirements: Two to three years of experience in a hospital or healthcare related field leading staff and managing projects. Experience using Excel and other software programs to analyze data. Bachelor"s degree in a healthcare or business
related field. Prefer, Master"s degree in business, healthcare, finance, or related field.
