CATH LAB (EP) RADIOLOGY TECHNICIAN (7A - 7P) Job Listing at Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas

Description:
Responsible for performing highly specialized radiologic procedures that provide valuable medical information used in determining the medical treatment of patients. The Cath Lab Technologist has special training and expertise in cardiovascular procedures directly related to the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
-High School diploma or GED equivalency
-Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved radiologic technology program and certified in radiologic technology by a nationally recognized certifying body (ARRT preferred); or licensed by a state and meets requirements for registry certification.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-One year of experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist with above average skills performance is required.
-Previous experience in a catheterization laboratory and/or special procedures required.
-Must demonstrate satisfactory proficiency in all aspects of the job.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
-American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
-Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, Texas Department of Health
-Advances Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS)
