The responsibilities of this position include implementation of the Employee Health program. This includes working collaboratively with ancillary departments in performing new employee assessments and the coordination of a comprehensive and effective infection control program.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is the preferred qualification. Alternative experience will be considered in lieu of the minimal educational requirement.
One to three (1-3) years of experience in Employee Health.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
Current Registered Nurse licensure for the State of Texas.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
1.Competent in Employee Health Practices.
2.Maintains current knowledge regarding all laws, regulatory and accreditation standards.
3.Proficient with computer programs to complete job duties independently.
4.Able to communicate in English with verbal and written skill.
5.Participates in educational programs to enhance expertise.
6.Able to complete all expectations of position with minimal supervision.
