Certified Hand Therapist. Assess and plan treatment programs for patients relevant to physical dysfunction and implement by direct or delegated care as ordered by physician. Serve as a professional care provider, educator, consultant, and coordinator.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Certified Hand Therapist.

Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program approved by the AOTA Accredited University.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Have 2 years of general experience including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings.

LICENSE RQUIREMENTS

Licensed / Certified / Registered Occupational Therapist with current Texas license.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Able to work independently.
3. Has specific rehabilitation skills in the treatment of hand injuries.
4.Supervisory experience would be an asset.
