EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is the preferred qualification for the Performance Improvement/Risk Nurse position. Alternative experience will be considered in lieu of the minimum educational requirement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
One to three years of experience in hospital quality/risk management

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
R. N. with current license in the state of Texas
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality preferred
CPR preferred

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency to complete job duties independently. Able to interact professionally with all levels of personnel, management and physicians. Time management and prioritization skills. Flexible and able to deal with change. Able to flex schedule to meet needs of the job if required.
