Job Summary
Montage Deer Valley, located in the year-round community of Park City, Utah, is considered one of North America's finest mountain resort destinations.
This position is responsible for performing daily tasks that align with the department’s long term goals and objectives, uphold Montage Deer Valley’s Mission, Vision and Values; support management and leadership, provides excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, and actively aspires to reach defined goals and objectives. A summary of the duties include, although are not limited to: greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome; take accurate guest orders and serve all food and beverage requests; describe menu items accurately; maintain knowledge on overall beverage offerings; secure and post accurate payments; maintain a professional presence at all times; ensure station and table set-ups are clean and complete; perform opening and closing duties as designated by manager or supervisor; maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment; maintain knowledge of all menu offerings; consistently follow proper steps of service; always recognize guest’s preferences; and maintain a safe and positive work environment. The Vista Cocktail server will also work in compliance with Utah Liquor Laws. All positions may perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs that may be outside the scope of normal duties.
Experience
High school or equivalent education required including a minimum of one to two years of experience in hotel or resort environments with a strong emphasis in customer service.
