The Montgomery County Renters Alliance, Inc. (MCRA), is looking for highly energetic, personable and intelligent interns to work this spring and summer reaching out to renters throughout the MoCo, Maryland area. The MCRA is a new non-profit dedicated to strengthening renters' rights and security. The MCRA plans to build the alliance by collecting contact information for at least 10,000 renters who live in the County as well as encourage and support the creation of tenants associations among other activities. MCRA Interns will set up information tables at Metro stops, community events and go door to door to distribute MCRA literature and gather renter contact information, input databases as well as other duties.
