Community Relations Intern

Get involved in one of the countrys top non-profits: Muscular Dystrophy Association! Work with media outlets to advertise upcoming fundraisers, programs, etc. All proceeds go to help 2,000 families in Western Washington with one of 43 neuromuscular diseases.

Volunteer 10-20 hours per week and gain valuable experience in advertising, increase your writing skills, and work with a nationally-recognized non-profit with offices across the country. Internships may begin as early as September 17, and last from 4-12 weeks.

MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.

MDAs comprehensive services program includes diagnostic and follow-up medical consultations, flu shots, support groups, MDA summer camps for youngsters, a national medical equipment program, assistance with equipment repairs and modifications, and resource referrals.
