Description
The Museum of Tolerance New York (MOTNY), located in the heart of Manhattan, challenges visitors to confront bigotry and racism, and to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts. Through interactive exhibits, individuals explore issues related to prejudice, diversity, and tolerance.

The MOTNY is seeking enthusiastic candidates for our internship program. We encourage applications from individuals who are passionate about promoting universal tolerance and human rights.

Interns will assist staff in leading tours, outreach, and event programming. Additionally, interns support the museums day-to-day operations and have the opportunity to
work on an independent project tailored to the interns interests. While an intern partakes in many behind the scenes activities, each intern follows tours and trains to become a docent. Docents use the immersive and dynamic multimedia features of the museum to inspire conversations on ethics, diversity, tolerance and responsibility, and encourage visitors to promote tolerance in their schools and communities.
