MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Ed.S in Agency Counseling, Rehabilitative Counseling) with course work and practice (pre – or post degree) in the provision of mental health care or Florida licensure or license eligibility under FAC 491 as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor (if claiming license eligible, applicant must provide documentation from the 491 Board). School Psychology and School Guidance Counseling do not qualify. The Regional Mental Health Consultant can provide consultation when determining if an applicant meets the eligibility requirements.
Successful applicant must pass a background screening and fingerprinting. Successful completion of a urine drug test will be a condition of employment.
