The students will work alongside the designer.They will work on manipulating patterns to get desired shapes. Will be responsible for creating/truing patterns from already made samples. The job also requires the interns to have some knowledge of sewing experience where they will be able to create a garment from a pattern. Cutting and costing fabric. The intern may also be exposed to different places around the world where they can purchase wholesale items and manufacture their fashion lines. If a fashion show, a sample sale, a charity or any events that the designer's line is to be shown, the intern may be asked to work with the designer backstage or any preparation such as photo shoots, brochures and model fittings.
