Description

Nestle Waters North America (NWNA) is currently seeking applicants for seasonal Production Operator assignments to be located in our Red Boiling Springs, TN facility. 

 

Shift openings are 12 hours in length and consist of a rotating schedule of 3 or 4 scheduled days/week, including every other weekend.  Day shifts run from 6:00am to 6:30pm and night shifts run from 6:00pm to 6:30am.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Operating, troubleshooting, conducting basic and preventative maintenance and performing changeovers on various bottling line equipment
  • Ensure the safety of self and others during all work activities
  • Conducting hourly quality checks and completing online data entry and documentation for production and downtime tracking, analyzing data as needed
  • Working effectively with peers as a team to support production goals
  • Load raw materials and remove dunnage
  • Work with Planning, Quality and Logistics to maximize results and efficiency
  • Comply with plant sanitation standards and keep work area clean
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives
  • Operate a forklift in the production area as needed

Key qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years prior experience in production within manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage industry or a clean manufacturing environment
  • Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP)
  • Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills
  • Comfort working in a high speed production environment
  • Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 12 hour shift, basic math and reading skills
  • Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 business operating through most weekends and holidays
  • Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview
  • Successful completion of a post offer physical, drug screen and background check are required
  • Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold cold)
