NewWave Telecom & Technologies, Inc. has an immediate internship/part-time opportunity in our Elkridge, MD office with our Technical Team to assist with special project needs. This position will be responsible for working on cutting edge architecture for Cloud based and big data solutions in support of the Technical Department.

This internship opportunity is for a highly motivated student who works well independently. This position will require hands on experience with Linux (Ubuntu and Centos) and with Scripting Python, Ruby, and Bash. The incumbent will possess a thorough knowledge of web development (SOAP, REST). Knowledge of lightweight configuration and management technologies such as Chef and Puppet is preferred. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are mandatory. Candidates should be pursuing or possess a degree in Computer Science or a related major.
