Job Summary:

This position reports to the Senior Supervisor. The person in this position is responsible for all day to day activities within the VAS/Rework department. He or She must be able to split the time with a 90%floor management and support and 10% administrative.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

•Responsible for the department performance and budget margin
•Responsible for the daily labor plan in order to maintain service and profitability
•Responsible for equipment planning and service to maintain a high level of up time
•Participate in the weekly volume planning meeting with the rework leadership team to ensure efficient and timely launch of all new projects
•Responsible to test projects weekly to ensure productivity rate is acceptable.
•Responsible to complete the assigned weekly volume goals
•Responsible to review daily progress and adjust capacity as needed without affecting the profitability
•Work with inventory Control to maintain a high level of accuracy
•Maintain an efficient flow and work sequence in all areas of the department (In / Production and Out) to optimize productivity
•Management of the daily communication with the staffing agency to ensure best candidates selection and labor needs are fulfilled timely.
•Must have a daily start-up meeting to address Safety, Daily goals, communication updates etc… with all team members
•Responsible for productivity daily review (with team members) and improvements initiatives.
•Responsible to address daily corrective action and/or training for all team members
•Ensures that all daily and weekly reports are sent out timely and accurately.
•Responsible for updating the department reporting matrix
•Responsible for the team safety communication, training and initiatives
•Ensuring production employees' compliance with all company policies, safety requirements and codes of conduct
•Responsible for maintaining daily Associates time-keeping accuracy in kronos
