Principal Healthcare Product Manager Job Listing at Nuance in Burlington, MA

Working with the Healthcare Division’s senior marketing and RD teams, this individual will assist with the definition, design and development of products and services for Nuance’s core enterprise-wide clinical documentation platforms. In addition to new products and functionality, the Product Manager will propose, lead and/or participate in initiatives to drive defined business results and higher customer satisfaction. This individual will report to the Director of HIM Product Management.

Number of Years of Work Experience: 4-7

• Product management responsibility for defining, documenting and driving the release of Nuance Healthcare’s clinical documentation platforms and related products and services.
• Leader of cross-functional team tasked with the definition and specification of new products, features and services.
• Organize and execute customer research and voice of the customer programs, vetting market requirements and researching competitive products.
• Refine and improve the overall process for creating and prioritizing product and platform requirements.
• Contribute to product launch planning in coordination with Nuance’s Healthcare marketing team.
• Indentify and lead key initiatives to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.

• Proven ability to successfully manage the product lifecycle of complex enterprise software.
• Proven ability to identify key customer requirements and translate them into detailed product requirements for next generation products.
• Strong communication, leadership, and business strategy skills.
• High energy and passion for their work.
• Ability to work with senior management and technical teams to produce world-class products.
• Skilled in making presentations and demonstrating products to audiences of different participants (e.g., customers, analysts, technical peers, non-technical professionals) and size.
• Extensive, up-to-date knowledge of and prior product management and/or RD work experience at clinical information technology vendors delivering dictation, transcription and / or EMR solutions.

Preferred Skilss:

• Experience with speech recognition and natural language technology a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of web applications/Web 2.0 technologies a strong plus

Education:

• BS Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; MBA Preferred
