Product Manager Dragon Medical Healthcare Job Listing at Nuance in Burlington, MA

Working with the Healthcare Division’s marketing and product development teams, this individual will drive the definition, design, development and release of the Dragon Medical product line. This individual will report to the Director, Dragon Medical Product Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead responsibility for defining, documenting and driving the release of next-generation point-of-care clinical documentation solutions for Dragon Medical for US and international markets.
• Be a key member of the cross-functional product / marketing / RD teams tasked with defining, designing and building the Dragon Medical Mobile product line.
• Plan and drive voice of the customer programs; pro-actively validate market and product requirements with customers and business partners; be the subject-matter expert for speech-enabled clinical documentation solutions on mobile devices.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proven ability to identify key customer requirements for clinical end-users and translate them into detailed product requirements for next generation products.
• Proven ability to successfully manage the product lifecycle of enterprise healthcare software.
• High energy and passion for work; strong communication, leadership, and business strategy skills.
• Proven ability to work with senior management and technical teams to produce world-class products.
• Skilled in making presentations and demonstrating products to different audiences participants (e.g., customers, analysts, technical peers, non-technical professionals).
• Extensive, up-to-date knowledge of and prior product management and/or RD work experience with leading healthcare information technology vendors.
• Experience with mobile devices for healthcare, speech recognition technology and / or natural language technology a strong plus.

• 5+ years product management experience and healthcare enterprise software;
• 7 – 10 years of business experience with software and/or mobile device companies.
• Experience with SaaS and on-demand delivery models a strong plus.
• Clinical experience a plus
• BS Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA Preferred.
