Position Summary:

Provide exceptional guest service at all times. The inern
will assist with providing programs that increase understanding and
knowledge of the natural environment. Provide consultation for
associates in which nature directly affects the work environment such
as Golf Course Maintenance, Recreation, etc. The Nature Center
offers a variety of scheduled and private tours as well as programs
within the Kids' Camp and works closely with local animal sanctuaries
in animal rescues on property. Interns will also be responsbile
for the daily care and maintenance of the animals in the Nature
Center. The intern will experience procedures in various areas
within the Recreation department. Emphasis will vary dependng
on business demands.

Requirements:
Prefer ability to identify local flora and fauna of a coastal marine
environment, kayaking and hiking experience and lifeguard and/or
Water/Boating Safety Certification. Must be able to work
outdoors in various weather conditions and be on feet for length of
shift. Must have good bike riding skills and good
balance. Must be comfortable enforcing Segway use and safety
precautions in a friendly, courteous way. Student should be in
school earning college credit.
