Hawai‘i Pacific Health is a nonprofit health care system formed in 2001 with the merger of three longtime Hawai‘i health systems. The Facilities Management department maintains a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees. It provides our hospital and clinics with regular maintenance of physical buildings, routine safety inspections and minor repairs to ensure that our infrastructure operates at its best. Staff perform skilled work in the repair, replacement and refinishing of equipment and systems such as electrical services, HVAC services, plumbing services, power plant operation and general maintenance of buildings and grounds with goal of providing an aesthetically pleasant, functional and safe operating environment.
As Energy Manager, you will lead an array of energy engineering and related consulting services to support our operations. You will help implement energy-saving solutions with leading-edge technology and spearhead cost-saving initiatives. This role would encompass participating in planning all phases of conservation projects, including performing energy studies, and preparing specifications and bid documents. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Energy Management with CEM certification and five (5) years of experience with progressive levels of responsibility in the performance of detailed energy audits, and retro-commissioning services, including scope development, analysis and reporting activities.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in design and operation of complex HVAC systems as applied to healthcare environments.
