Paragon is a full service event management and association management firm. Our interns are taught how to research hotels, create proposals and RFP's, how to create and manage a time line and agenda, how to build an online registration and manage a database. A few additional tasks will include: A/V selection, speaker selection, room diagrams and seat selection, transportation need assessment, budgeting and general office work. This is NOT a full list of projects/tasks.
Our interns learn from hands on experience and are given much responsibility, therefore we need someone who is organized, punctual, dedicated, can follow through with tasks and is eager to learn.
*NOTE: IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO ARRANGE FOR APPROVAL FOR ACADEMIC CREDIT FROM THE APPROPRIATE ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO ACCEPTING THE INTERNSHIP FOR CREDIT.
