I am a freelance writer. I currently write history articles for Cigar City Magazine and La Gaceta Newspaper, write the memoirs for Mayor Dick Greco and Dick Corbett (founder of the International Mall), and have been hired to work on books on the history of Tampa's India community, the 1988 Florida Senate Election, and Tampa's role in the Cuban Revolution.

I am looking for an intern who can help me with my research. I need interview tapes transcribed, my research outlined and articles fact checked.

While I cannot pay the intern, he or she will be allowed to accompany me on select interviews. I regularly meet with some of the city and state's top leaders as well as fascinating individuals in the world of organized crime and the Cuban Revolution.

I will also help the intern publish an article up to once a month in one of the publications I write for. While these publications will not pay the intern, it is a featured byline and clip for the intern. These are not "press release" sized articles or covering the school board meetings in some small town. These articles can be feature length and be thousands of words long if the writer tells a good story.
