Title: QA Manager
Location: WI-null
The QA Manager is responsible for the development, review and implementation of company Quality Management System policies, procedures, plans and work instructions. They will direct the Quality Department salaried and union workforce to support company goals and objectives as well as communicates the QMS requirements to company department heads and frontline supervisors. The QA Manager makes decisions on quality acceptance/rejections if disputes arise and obtains regulatory approval of Weld Procedures, Nondestructive tests, Calibration Procedures and product testing methods. They will directly communicate with Customers and Regulatory Bodies and report to Executive Management any deficiencies and propose corrective actions. The QA Manager attends formal Program Reviews and provides input on quality metrics as determined by product test results and aids all departments in root cause determinations and corrective actions. They also have responsibility for development and delivery of training programs to all company workers to ensure compliance to NAVSEA, ABS, USCG and customer contract requirements.

Qualified applicants must have an AS Degree in Welding, Science Discipline or Engineering Field and 10 years Marine experience. Must hold ASNT Level II certifications in Radiographic, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant test methods; Level III certification is preferred. Qualified applicants must hold current American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector certification for visual inspection and have experience with ISO Quality Systems, NAVSEA, ABS, USCG, and commercial standards. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Six-sigma and Lean methods for problem resolution in a cost effective manner and have acceptable NDT Safety record to qualify for Licensing Radiographic Devices under State of Wisconsin and Federal NRC rules for company site license.

This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
