Title: Structural & Payload Design Engineer
Location: MO-null

PDS is seeking a Structural & Payload Design Engineer for an open position in Berkeley, MO.

In your role, you will:
* Develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
* Develop, maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
* Perform, integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
* Manage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
* Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
* Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
* Work under general direction.

As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following requirements:
* Must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Field to be considered.
* Must be a U.S. person.
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
