Title: Tooling Engineer – Fixture/Scaffolding Design--Mojave
Location: CA-null

a. Generate a design concept and requirements for a multi-story assembly fixture around a large aircraft wing, accounting for support of part weight and man access.

b. Liason with potential vendors of the fixture, providing sizes, weights, CAD data

c. Manage design and procurement of fixture.

a. 5000 hours CAD Experience with CATIA v5

b. Experience with aircraft structural assembly and fixture design

c. Experience with basic sizing calculations of load rating, safety factor, and beam deflection

d. Experience with OSHA standards for fixtures and work platforms

e. Ability to select and coordinate design/build contract with an outside vendor including writing a Statement of Work, selecting the vendor, and managing their delivery

f. BS Engineering Required

g. MUST BE A US CITIZEN(please notify us if candidate holds DUAL citizenship)
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
