Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Hospitalist to join our Primary Care team and multi-specialty Medical Group as we deliver care to southern Southeast Alaska. Full-time and part-time opportunities available - a combination of days, nights, and/or rotating shifts.

Demonstrates compassion, respect and caring while working within the scope of practice of "Physician" to provide safe and efficient care to patients and assistance to their families and visitors. Works collaboratively with all other healthcare team members toward the best outcomes for the patient and the organization. Provides professional services to the hospital and it's patients.
Required Specifications:
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Successful completion of Internship/Residency Program in area of specialty.
License/Certification: Licensed to practice as a physician in the State of Alaska. Board Certified. Federal DEA Number. Current ACLS certification.
Experience and/or Training: Demonstrated expertise in clinical management of hospitalized patients. Maintains current knowledge and skills with continuing education. Must meet all training requirements for specific department.
Special Skill/Demands: Computer experience required. Able to work varied hours. Must not be a practitioner excluded from participation in the Medicare or Medicaid program. Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
