People of Hope Crafts is incorporated in the State of Colorado and as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The mission of People of Hope Crafts is to aid the people of El Salvador in implementing their own vision of justice by creating awareness in the United States of the plight of the marginalized in Central America, and by supporting grassroots community development through the funding of projects in El Salvador and marketing of fair trade crafts in the United States.
The People of Hope Crafts Non-profit Internship program will provide you with a wealth of experience across a broad range of tasks. From website maintenance and e-commerce to sales and marketing, this internship will prepare you for work in a variety of fields. Most importantly, the small size of our organization allows you to have ownership over your individual projects and duties. This ownership is essential to having a positive, enjoyable internship experience that gives you the skills and experiences to be effective in the future jobs you will hold. It also means you dont get stuck doing mundane tasks that other larger companies reserve specifically for their interns.
