District Sales Rep-Specification Sales Job Listing at Philips North America in Baltimore, MD

Your Challenge:

With a strong lighting controls background, incumbent will collaborate with architects/engineers and lighting designers to upsell the Philips Lighting product portfolio and create sales opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:
Provides expertise on Lighting Solutions with the specifier and architect community.
Initiates and negotiates tailor made actions.
Ensures availability of goods/deliverables in cooperation with order desk and logistics.
Systematically analyzing and reporting of sales results, expectations, market, competition and trends.

Our Lighting sector is dedicated to introducing innovative end-user-driven and energy-efficient solutions and applications for lighting, based on a thorough understanding of the customer needs, both in public and private context.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing, Engineering or work experience in lieu of degree.
3+ years sales experience
Extensive knowledge of the lighting business and in-depth knowledge of products and applications.

Strong lighting controls experience
Lighting Certified Preferred
LED Certified Preferred
LEED Certified Preferred
Controls Certified Preferred
A proven track record in customer relationship building with architects, specifiers and industry associations.
Proven ability and track records of closing deals.
