Description
Provides overall leadership, strategy and direction for the Product Marketing function within Nuclear Medicine.
Responsibilities:
Nuclear Medicine (NM): In charge PET-MR roadmaps. Develop business plans for assigned products, including gathering market research, competitive intelligence, and market requirements. Create customer requirements for new products based on customer research, market analysis, and clinical drivers that offer differentiation and enhance Philips position in the clinical community. Represent these customers and champion the requirements through the product development process. Work in cross-functional program teams to ensure timely definition, development and release of products. Lead the global Go-To-Market activities associated with New Product Introductions (NPI), such as launch plans, Marketing Communications strategy, sales training, collateral development, and pricing. Own the global product planning and lifecycle process for assigned products from developing product roadmaps through NPI launches through product end of life programs. Partner with Global Sales to formulate marketing strategies for assigned products, including product positioning, configuration, and pricing to deliver sales, orders, and margin objectives. Work with customer support, applications team and field marketing to develop customer education programs. Provide support to beta sites and post-install support to customers to ensure high customer satisfaction. Support the development and management of reference sites.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in technical or clinical area required, MBA preferred. Expertise in MR (magnetic resonance) or NM (nuclear medicine) imaging a must Approximately 10 yrs+ experience in Product Management, additional experience in Program Management, Field Marketing, Clinical Marketing would be very helpful. Proven partnership/relationship management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills Energetic, dynamic; Inspiring. Financial and business analysis skills Experience in Strategy Planning and Roadmap Development Confidence in presenting business cases and conducting compelling and persuasive presentations to Senior Management 25-30% travel expected to attend trade shows, sales events, and customer meetings.
