Do you love writing about sports? Or have an interest in the various sides of sports from business to political to the fan perspective? ProPlayerInsiders is looking for aspiring sportswriters and anyone interested in writing about players in the NFL. This is a great opportunity for aspiring journalists and people interest in the sports field to gain experience and exposure.

Here are some of the regular activities that we would be looking for students to work on:
Monitor media for breaking news and interesting topics
Rewrite stories from other sources (short 200 word pieces) on a timely basis throughout the day
Write assigned feature pieces
Interview Players (as appropriate)
Social Media (twitter and facebook)

We are looking for students who feel they could be a strong contributor to PPI. ProPlayerInsiders is an official partner with the NFL Players Association. We write player profiles on who they are behind the face mask and highlight their involvement in the community. We also cover breaking news and regular features. We are looking for students that are interested in sports in areas of marketing and communications.

We are also marketing our site and its content to advertisers and other media outlets but at this point we will outsource much of that. We also interact with regularly with the players, the NFL the NFLPA and other sports related companies as well as attend certain events and functions.

Hours are flexible and virtual with regular meetings and calls would work best. We think it is important and are committed to give interns feedback and real world experience to help them grow and understand the sports and communication market. As we grow so will our staff and we would like to find key individuals that we employ ourselves or help place within our network.
