The Wirehouse Divisional Sales Manager will be fully responsible for all sales related activity. Will act as a member of the Prudential Annuities Sales Management team and will coordinate with the National Sales Manager in the development of the annuity sales strategy.  Will be directly responsible for a team of wholesalers.  Duties include developing a sales strategy and managing the related sales activity and budgets accordingly.  The Wirehouse Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing relationships with key clients within the channel and for assisting with the development and launch of new products as needed.
 
  • In-depth understanding of annuities industry and key competitors in the marketplace.

  • Develop new business within the territory by calling identified reps and providing sales and marketing information. Provide follow up information as requested. Maintain contact with reps and keep them up to date on products. Offer information, ideas and other material required in completing sales. 

  • Stay informed of business trends in the industry in order to be proactive in providing sales solutions

  • Work closely with external wholesalers, marketing, compliance, and sales management 

  • Solid understanding of a business-to-business sales model. 

  • Strong self motivators

  • Maintain open communication with wholesalers.

  • Ability to develop relationship with center of influence.

  • Participate in an attractive compensation plan.

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of more complex annuity and industry-related concepts

  • 2 - 4 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services
  • Strong customer focus
  • Series 6 and 26 required
  • Series 63, 65 or 66 required
  • State Insurance license
