The individual will be an integral part of the Individual Annuity
Valuation team in the Actuarial unit of Prudential Annuities, which
is responsible for reporting and analyzing the risks of the
Annuities business. The individual's primary role will function on
performing attribution and driver analysis for GAAP quarterly
financials.
 
Additional roles will include:

• Enhance assumption process and coordinate with the experience
  studies area.


• Conduct sensitivity analysis surrounding key financial
  drivers


• Coordinate with forecasting area to help analyze risk and
  sensitivity.


• Individual will partake in new business initiatives

 

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  
• Experienced user of MS Excel and MS Word. 
• Experience with VBA/SQL is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in GAAP reporting or Statutory valuation is aplus
• Prior annuity experience is a plus
• Actuarial credentials - 3 exams to ASA desired
• Bachelor's Degree
