Description
This position is on our Structured Settlement Team in Woodbridge, New Jersey, within Prudential Retirement, a market leader in providing retirement plan products and services to public, private, and non profit organizations. The New Business Lead, Associate Manager  position on the Relationship Management and Service team will be responsible for client service relationships with our third-party distribution firms.  This role will oversee a team comprised of Pre-Funding Specialists and Onboarding members who are responsible for daily client service and operational activities of the Structured Settlements' business. This  individual will ensure client satisfaction by overseeing service delivery targets are being met and exceeded.
 
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Owns Firm-level sales / service issues and accountable for overall relationship with firms

  • Reviewing and approving quote requests and new sale confirmations

  • Performing good order review of required forms and legal documents

  • Approving new sales and commission payments

  • Approving and releasing contracts

  • Development and training of staff members

  • Maintain department Service Level Agreements

  • Maintaining department production and quality standards

  • Recommending service and operational improvements

  • Responding to broker inquiries requiring a strong knowledge of Prudential's policies and underwriting guidelines

  • Making proactive phone calls to brokers (including heads of firms)

  • Ability to interact with brokers, attorneys and claims adjusters pertaining to Prudential Structured Settlement program

  • Ability to handle broker issues

 
 

  • Four year degree or four to six years of equivalent job experience
  • Three to five years of management experience required
  • Knowledge of Structured Settlement Product a plus 
  • Strong client level interaction relationship building abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must possess strong problem solving, analytical and math skills
  • Ability to adjust priorities to meet changing business needs
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently and provide timely results
  • Excellent time management skills
